As you go about your business... wherever that might be in the multiverse, an elf from forgotten realms, a human explorer on the sea, in space or exploring the astral plane between realms, or even a simple civilian under the impenetrable shield of Atlantis; it didn't matter, that damned ancient relic still found your life thread, latched onto it and dragged you into your worst nightmare, your vision fades as you feel it as it begins to disassemble you molecule by molecule; to the average person it would be incomprehensible, to a mage however they can tell they are being summoned to another plane, very poorly they would note, then as suddenly as it started it came to a sudden conclusion.. as you begin to relax and open your eyes.. rock and grass, as your turn around to see a strange construct embedded into the mouth of the cave, the inside of the cave seem bare, a empty room with a series of locked doors, however on the other side of the gate was a beautiful Orchard.A Beautiful Place, Filled with danger...
Whatever this relic is though it doesn't seem safe at all, occasionally activating and depositing random objects, mostly debris, metal, stone wood. you Dust yourself off and consider yourself lucky all your limbs are still attached in the right places. you notice a dirt path leading away through a grove filled with wondrous fruit bearing plants many of them Apricot Trees... you can see smoke in the distance rising from what seemed to be a tavern or inn with a collection of houses around it, a hamlet that has sprung up around the lone establishment, further down the road, a massive fortress city at the shore of a large bay some the the structures in the city seemed to be out of place, old and highly advanced buildings of metal and stone mixed between Oriental style homes and businesses, one of these places might be a good place to rest for a moment until you figure out where you are... A loud screech of a predator suggests to you that you may have lingered too long and it best be time to seek refuge with whoever lives below....
