Berry Picker

You only eat what you prepare for yourself.

Roleplaying Ideas: When you have to eat somewhere, or whens someone offer you food, you must decline it, or find some reason to excuse yourself.

Effect: You can only eat food you have hunted or forage for in the wild, and subsequently prepared for yourself. You will only drink beverages made from water collected by yourself from a natural source. You also cannot benefit from food made by spells (ie: Create Food; Heroes' Feast), or from magical items (ie: Ring of Sustenance; Clear Ioun Stones; Sustaining Spoon). If you eat or drink excluded substances, you become sickened for 8 hours.

2 SP - Berry Picker

Callous

Unaware of social cues and minor personal boundaries.

Effect: You take a -3 penalty to Sense Motive checks and Perception checks.

SP - 3

Skinny Dipper

You like to swim with no clothes on.

Effect: Your armor check penalty for swimming is 4 worse than normal, even for armors that normally do not confer a penalty.

If you can see calm water of a depth at least half your height, that does not appear to contain any dangers, you are compelled to skinny dip: You are shaken until you are either in the water wearing neither armor nor clothes, or can no longer see the water.

Benefit: 2 SP

Slow

You are slower than most people.

Prerequisites: No class features that increase your base land speed, cannot have quick trait.

Penalty: Your base land speed is reduced by 10 feet.

Benefit: Gain 1 additional HP per level.

3 SP

Coward

You are susceptible to fear.

Effect:

You have a -3 penalty on all saves against Fear effects.

Even if you succeed on such a save, you are still shaken for 1 round.

Deep Scar

You have suffered a deep magical wound somewhere on your body that prohibits you from partaking in greatly strenuous activities.

Roleplaying Ideas:
How did the character acquire this grievous wound? Are they searching for a way to fix their now hampered physical form or are they merely try to cope with it? They may have even lost the will to fight unless absolutely necessary for fear of aggravating the wound.

Effect: Whenever the character fails a Strength check by 5 or more, they aggravate the old wound and is stunned for 1d3 rounds.

Deadly Sin of Sloth

-2 to all craft, knowledge, profession and entertain skills
-2 Temple Opinion
Gain: 3 SP

Roleplay Ideas:

Slothful characters are simply lazy, they are also greedy but only to the point of not wanting to do anything for themselves they are not very zealous and not very ambitious either, they have no interest in creating or learning.

and as a result they take penalties to all the multipurpose skills in DR.

Opposite: Diligent

Deadly Sin of Envy

(Extremely Dangerous Defect)

-3 to Diplomacy skill, -3 bluff skill, Temple Opinion -2

-20% respect for chain of command - Employment boss/supervisor, Party leader, academy instructor, Kage, Empress... etc

Gain 3 SP.

Roleplay Ideas:

Envious players are jealous of others, be it because of power, talent, relationships , employment.. etc, this makes Envious people very dishonorable and and when discovered can cause people to distrust the player character or NPC, this sin can be very dangerous as your character may purposefully disobey an order and get placed in dangerous situations, not follow magical training instructions and injure oneself when learning a technique, also as it can cause characters who are more powerful than you to see you as a threat earlier. Those with Chakra coils disorder defect are very prone to being Envious.

Opposite: Kind

Deadly Sin of Wroth

+1 to Hit and +1 to Damage with melee weapons.
+1 to Intimidate Temple Opinion -1
Gain: 3 SP

Roleplay Ideas: Wroth characters fight dirty, are quick to anger and are slightly less rational then the average person of their race they also usually prefer melee combat over guns or bows.

Opposite: Patient

Deadly Sin of Gluttony

-1 sexual performance rolls, -1 to fortitude saves, Temple Opinion -2

Gain: +3 SP

Roleplay ideas: Gluttonous characters tend to be more greedy and less zealous about things in life their specific greed being consumable in nature, a lot of path of hedonism characters acquire this sin over their lifetime. all of the temples frown on this sin, except Sheogorath.... unless you hate cheese.

Opposite:Temperate

Deadly Sin of Pride

+2 to Intimidate, -1 to Bluff and Diplomacy Temple Opinion -1

Gain: 3 SP

Roleplay Ideas: Proud characters are very ambitious, their deeds tend to be spoken of more frequently,

proud characters usually develop the Overconfident defect as a result of possessing this sin, while the temples frown on all the sins, pride is the least of their concern for the most part.

Opposite: Humble

Deadly Sin of Greed

+3 to Appraise skill -1 to diplomacy skill.

Gain: +3 SP

Roleplay Ideas: Greedy Characters are as one would think Extremely greedy nearly five times more greedy then say a Gluttonous or a lustful character it usually is focused on currency but sometimes other materials are desired, Greedy characters are more ambitious and less honorable.

Opposite: Charitable

Deadly Sin of Lust

+2 to sexual performance rolls, -2 to saves of spells with sexual descriptor, Temple Opinion -3/except Aphrodite and Eros who receive a +3

Gain: +3 SP

Roleplay ideas:

Lustful characters tend to be more greedy and less zealous about things in life their specific greed being sexual in nature, the temples frown on this sin, except Aphrodite and Eros who receive a +3 temple Opinion bonus instead of a penalty of 3, lustful characters usually pick up easily distracted defect towards the gender they prefer the most peruse. Those on the path of hedonism usually acquire lustful or Gluttony at some stage of their lives.
