Adamant

Discovered in oddly shaped veins of gold - Adamant comes in many forms though, in the beginning, it starts as Adamantite Ore. This crystalline metal comes in three varieties at this stage - Garnet, Azure and Citrine Adamantite. When refined into alloys with various metals it becomes Adamantian, Adamantium, Adamantine, or one of the various Dragomantiums.

It should be noted that all types of Adamant possess:

  • Fortification [Gear: Armor, clothing, and accessories] -Armor made from Adamant increases the wearer's overall Armor damage reduction of

  • 1/— if it's light armor, 2/— if it's medium armor and 3/— if it's heavy armor.

  • +1 Def if it's a light shield,+2 Def if it's a medium Shield, and +3 Def if it's a heavy shield,

  • +4 to a tower Shield.

  • Clothing and accessories that did not have a damage reduction gain 1/- if they did they gain an increase of 1 to it.

Divine Pressure [Weapons only] - Adamant seems to exert pressure on behalf of it's owner. Perhaps due to it being a chosen material of both dragon and divine. Adamant weapons Bestow an Misc. Modifier to Intimidate equal to 1 + [number] of Affix slots that are filled with enchantments. The weapon's metal surface must be visible for this bonus to take effect.

Augmented Crystals - Adamantine gear has inlays within it that contain large, pure adamantite crystals matching the crystals that compose the alloy. The effects of Garnet, Azure or Citrine are doubled.

Dragomantium

Dragomantium is more of a title for a collection of Alloys made from Adamant and Dragon scales. This special Adamant can only be created in the Dragon's temples scattered around the universe.
All Dragomantium is Corrosion resistant due to the presence of dragon scales within the alloy.
