Beast Lord

Overview:

The beast lord is a shinobi who would more readily place his trust in his animal companions than fellow shinobi.

He is adept at training and bonding with animals.

Requirements to Enter Beast Lord Prestige class:

Base Attack Bonus: +6

Skills: Handle Animal 13 ranks, Survival 13 ranks.

Feats: Animal Affinity, Moujuu Aishou.

Special: Must have Frenzy 1/day or better ability.

Special2:

Players can only have One beastlord character, DMs can also restrict the number of beastlords in a party due to the fact they slow combat down, usually this restriction is 1 beastlord in a party but if a beastlord has been proven to be fast in combat the DM may lift the limit to 2. Other pet classes also tend to slow combat down [monster manipulator, Chocobo knight, etc] and this might be considered a valid reason to not increase to 2

if enough of the other classes are present.

The Beast lord class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are:

Acrobatics (Str/Dex), Climb (Str), Handle Animal (Cha),

Intimidate (Cha), Perception (Wis), Profession (Wis),

Perception (Wis), Ride (Dex), Survival (Wis), Stealth (Dex),

Swim (Str), Taijutsu (Str), Treat Injury (Wis)

Skill Points At Each Additional Level: 2 + Intelligence Modifier

Low-Light Vision:

Gain low-light vision, if already possessed, increased by 60 feet

Extra Animal Companion:

The beastlord gains an additional animal companion at 2nd and 4th level.

To determine the progression of the extra animal companions, subtract the appropriate number (shown parenthetically) to the Beast Lord's level,

and add or subtract any inherent level modifier the animal companion may have.

The level modifier of the first extra companion is -3. The second extra companion is -6.

Aspect of the Pack:

The Beastlord and his animal companions gain a +3 circumstance bonus to attack rolls when flanking with one another, rather than +2.
