Stygian Iron & Stygian Ice

*Under Development -- Do not Use*

Stygian Iron (R; GM Perm)

Stygian iron, like Celestial Bronze, Imperial Gold, and Bone Steel, is a magical metal capable of absorbing or destroying the essence of monsters, gods, Titans, demigods, and Giants. Unlike Imperial Gold and Celestial Bronze, however, it can harm both mortals, including humans and monsters, and immortals alike. It is the strongest of all ores within its pantheon (with the possible exception of bone steel, because it is from a different pantheon).

Stygian Iron is mined and forged in the Underworld. Combining both "Stygian Ore" and Wyroot. Where it is then cooled in the River Styx, producing a clean, indestructible blade. Because it is cooled in the River Styx, only children of Hades/Pluto and children of Underworld deities are capable of wielding it, with the exception of some powerful deities who can also wield Stygian Iron.

Deals regular damage to Mortals (Non Divine) unlike Celestial Bronze & Imperial Gold

Stygian Hardness
Due to the way the the Weapon/Armor is created. The normal calculated Hardness of 12 gains a bonus of 10. Making it a total of 22 Hardness.

Stygian Ice (R; GM Perm)

Stygian Ice is a rare material that can only be made in the Underworld's River Styx as it is cooled. Despite its fragility, it won't melt like normal ice. When the holder of Stygian Ice is close to death, the ice will become colder until it feels like it is burning, but from cold instead of heat.

Stygian Ice can be forged into different shapes to be used for different purposes, but it is very hard to craft.
