Expert System Implant (PL 6)

This small brain implant contains a Expert System for a specific skill that advises its recipient to perform a specific skill more adroitly.

Benefit:

The recipient gains a +2,4,6 competence bonus on checks made with one class skill of his choice.

Different skills require different implants, and a skill implant cannot be modified to grant a bonus to another skill.

A recipient may have multiple skill implants, but each is considered a separate cybernetic attachment.

Expert System Hub (PL 7)

This unit, implanted in the recipient’s brain, allows multiple Expert System implants to function as a single cybernetic attachment (see Expert System Implant, above).

Benefit: The recipient may have up to four ES or M-S ES implants attached to the ES system Hub, and together they are treated as a single cybernetic attachment.

However, if the Hub is destroyed, all of the attached ES implants are destroyed as well.

Type: Internal.

Hardness/Hit Points: –/4.

Purchase: 900,000 (does not include skill implants).

Restriction: None.

Special: the brain can only tolerate so many Hubs and/or System Augmenters = to 1/2 of your Constitution modifier.

So a Cyborg with a Constitution of 18(+4) could equip two Hubs or augmenters.

Meta-Skill Expert System (PL 9)

This small brain implant contains a adaptable Expert System that advises its recipient to perform a tasks more adroitly.

The recipient gains a Intelligence modifier +1,3,5 Skill points.

Type: Internal.

Hardness/Hit Points: –/1.

Restriction: None.

Meta-trait System Augmenter (PL 9)

This unit, implanted in the recipient’s brain, is modified to provide an additional trait slot at the loss of one of it's Chip slots.

Benefit: The recipient may have up to Three Expert System or Meta-Skill Expert System implants attached to the ES system Hub, and together they are treated as a single cybernetic attachment. However, if the Hub is destroyed, all of the attached ES implants are destroyed as well.

Type: Internal.

Hardness/Hit Points: –/4.

Purchase: 3,600,000 (does not include skill implants).

Restriction: Palman Reputation Tier 3

Special: the brain can only tolerate so many Hubs and/or System Augmenters = to 1/2 of your Constitution modifier.

So a Cyborg with a Constitution of 18(+4) could equip two Hubs or augmenters.
