We've Discovered an alien ship, its definately not one of ours like the others we've seen scattered on the homeworld and in the system, the vessel seems adrift and abandoned for sometime, we've latched onto one of the docking ports and are attempting to board the vessel....

It took us Three days just to cut through the docking hatch, the materials this ship uses for its hull is very impressive, but not as impressive as the Plating and field generator i've been studying from the Iconian gate near the town even though it's forbidden to stay too long around it nobody ever said anything about removing a few extra plates here and there and its not like it needed that burned out field emitter, maybe if i can fix it or build another one the damn thing will settle down...

The air onboard is stale, the ship looks like it was put to mothballs and somehow ended up here, might explain some of the trash floating around it that seems to have relocated here with it, we've found signs of damage everywhere but the hull is intact and the power systems have come back online... least the secondary backups, this strange power core might take me some time to figure out, the life support systems and sublight engines are also working and we've docked out shuttle in the hanger, it will take us a week to get back into orbit of the homeworld on minimum power but i'm confident i can get main power restored.

This is proving more difficult than i thought, the ship was built by one race, then sold to another who refit the vessel with technology that isnt 'quite' compatible, like the power core, it seems to be out of alignment with the plasma grid, but there is also another grid moving about the ship and the core seems to respond to it, somehow this grid activates the plasma grid but ill be damned what this strange conduit is.

Finally got this junkbox into orbit and i use that term quite precisely, this ship is over 70 years old from what i can tell, yet and here's the most amusing part, it hasn't even been built yet, it seems the most basic version of this ship doesn't even go into service for another 50 years, and this model... who knows its taking me awhile to skim through the database and a lot of this data is rather... frustrating, ive spoken with the kage and we've begun to send up crew to assist in bringing the vessel online for our nations, apparently i've been left in charge since i have a knack for the machinery on this disaster waiting to happen....

The singularity core is finally stable, if you can truely ever call a blackhole in a bottle.. stable The zero point modulator conduits around the entire ship needed to replaced, they were flooded with chronoton particles.....

Those matter manipulating devices that the federation android data calls a transporter.. wierd name, anything that sends you to one place or another is a telepipe but i guess the federation name is less of a blunder to say, regardless after months of tinkering i've managed to get it functional again, finally no more 3 hour shuttle trips to the surface....
