Psionic Entity & Force Sensitive Feats

Psionic Entity [Psi-Rating 1 and Higher]

You have definite telepathic potential.

Prerequisite: This feat must be selected at 1st character level.

Benefit: You can use telepathic abilities and learn telepathic feats and invest in telepathy as a crossclass skill. You have a P-Rating of 3d3–3.

You gain five bonus Chakra when this feat is selected. Note that a character must take this feat to begin taking levels in the telepath class.

Normal: Mundane characters cannot use telepathic abilities.

Special: If your P-Rating is rolled as 0, swap this feat for the Force Sensitive feat.

Special: Not everyone who selects this feat believes in the Force. A character can gain the benefits of this feat and its associated skills without understanding that he or she is calling upon the Force. Such characters instead attribute their success to luck, a special knack, or some other reason when they take advantage of this feat.

Force Sensitive [Psi-Rating 0]

You are sensitive to the ebb and flow of the Force. While not a true telepath in the true sense, you have an expanded consciousness that acts almost like a sixth sense. Though not necessarily a Jedi or a Force-user, you are capable of learning some basic Psionic skills.

Special: Can be taken after level 1.

Benefit:

You have an effective P-Rating of 0 and are not considered a true mundane. While you cannot actively use any telepathic abilities, you will know instantly when someone is attempting to use an ability on you. In addition, you may use an extremely weak version of the surface scan ability that detects the rough emotions of a single person within 10 feet. This requires a full round action and a Concentration check (DC 16).

Both of the feats above allows a character to begin the training necessary to eventually take up the mantle of a Force-user.

With this feat and a qualified teacher, a character can start to learn the fundamentals of the primary Force feats

(Alter, Control, and Sense) without actually gaining any of the formidable powers associated with them.

All of the children learning at the Jedi temple, for example, use this feat to help them through their various studies

(including lightsaber training) until they are selected by a single master to serve as a Padawan learner and gain their

first level in the Jedi Padawan / Knight Class.
