Sano

Even in Algo people have a need to wake up in the morning (or stay up late at night) and sano is the flavorful stimulant drink that does just that. It is served steaming hot at all hours of the day and it often accompanied by fruit chips.

Sano somewhat resembles a fruity version of coffee, it has a extremely high caffeine content and also blends well with additional sugar and milk/cream, Sano comes in a handful of varieties as different regions have variations of their recipes

Some humans have noted that the Sano from the Altena Frostlands reminds them of blueberries from earth due to the Blue Snowberries added during the production process in that region

Unlike most things within the empire, Sano production has never faltered over the thousands of years the palmans have been using it, while coffee is expensive to acquire from earth, Sano is practically free within the palman Empire due to their food programs they have in place to prevent the population from starving.
