Laconia

Laconia is a precious form of Silver only found on Dezoris. When mined, it comes in an unrefined state and is often called dezorian silver. Special Palman refining techniques can increase the strength of the low quality dezorian silver, resulting in a form called hi-Laconia or just Laconia.

Many of the most powerful equipment items in Algol are Laconia items. Laconia is often shorted to "Laco" in the names of such items. eg. LacoSword, LacoDagger.

In many cases, Laconia items have additional powers or special properties. Lashiec was said to have been afraid of a holy power residing in weapons made from Laconia.

*it is noted that Dezoris lacks Normal silver deposits, an unknown process converting the silver into Laconia, unrefined silver ore from other locations placed in Laconia deposits overtime begin to transform but scientists state complete transformation takes about a thousand years, Dezorians mine Laconia sparingly and purchase large quantities of silver from other worlds to replace the Laconia they have mined in an attempt to maintain balance as Laconia cannot be mined anywhere else in the known worlds, however they lack the ability to process it, leaving that to their allies the Palmans who figured that mystery out when the races cooperated in the past.

Laconia's Celestial Blade

Laconia items Exist in Celestial Blade, they Deal additional Holy damage based on the level of enchantment they possess, a +5 Weapon will Deal +5 Holy damage on a successful attack, when built into armor this bonus becomes +5 Holy Resistance of the type in question, For Laconia items it would be a +5 to a character's Holy resistance, Celestial Blade also reduces the cost to enchant Holy based magics by 30%
