Rowland Haryett Endowment Fund (RHEF)

This fund supports research in foundational and applied orthodontic research. Research proposals should focus on foundational, translational, or clinical research related to advancing orthodontics. Community engagement and education research projects are not eligible for these funds. 

Priority Areas 

• Investigations exploring the role of upper airway/breathing patterns and/or neuromuscular function in craniofacial morphology. 

• Investigations exploring the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of craniofacial growth abnormalities.

• Investigations exploring odontogenic abnormalities related to orthodontic diagnosis/treatment. 

• Investigations exploring diagnostic imaging related to orthodontic diagnosis and treatment.

• Review the Specific Terms of Reference that apply to RHEF

• Max amount (CAD): $25,000 

• Duration: Two years

• Application Deadline: October 15, 2025 (11:59 pm MST)

• Anticipated Notice of Decision: February 15, 2026

• Funding Start Date: April 1, 2026
