Dear Staff, Faculty and Students,
It’s almost spring time! The days are longer and the end of the school year is in sight. The Provincial Government has been working hard to immunize our most vulnerable citizens and is lifting some of our public health restrictions. All this good news might make you feel like celebrating but we still must exercise caution in our lives away from campus. Now is the time for us to redouble our safety efforts and be vigilant for lapses in our IPC.Â
Remember:
Wear a mask at all times when you are on campus or in indoor public spaces
Clean your hands frequently
Remain physically distant by at least 2 meters from others when not in full PPE
When eating or drinking - remain physically distant from others and only remove your mask to put food or drink into your mouth. Try not to talk while eating/drinking and your mask is off.
Remember to follow all our IPC protocols if you are here in the evenings or on the weekends.Â
You may have recently received instructions to complete the IPC modules and submit your attestation again. We have decided to forgo this mid-term renewal and push it to the beginning of intersession 2021. Please watch your email for new and improved IPC certification modules.Â
We have been advocating on our behalf with the province to ensure a timely vaccination of our School of Dentistry community. Please visit the AHS COVID-19 vaccine information page for details on when you will be eligible to be immunized.
