Over the next few days, Dispensary and CS staff will be working to add curing lights to the composite cassettes. Curing lights, therefore, will not be dispensed separately for direct composite restoration procedures. Â
However, curing lights will be dispensed separately for sealants, crown/bridge inserts or any other procedure where a composite cassette is not used.
Please reach out to Keri Pilon with any questions or concerns.Â
Please ensure the master switch on the delivery unit is turned to the OFF position at the end of every clinical session. Water leaks may occur overnight leading to a huge issue the next business day (big problem when this occurs over the weekend!)
As of this week and going forward, all DDS TCs will be "tying" planned treatment to appointments as they are being scheduled. This means equipment requests will be done automatically for students - no need for manual requests in these cases. Â
Students who have patients without planned treatment will need to submit a manual equipment request.
Please review all equipment requests at least 48 hours prior to the appointment - if additional equipment is required, students must add a manual request for the additional equipment 48 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment.
Please contact Keri Pilon or Melanie Chouinard with any questions or concerns.
