The Mike Petryk School of Dentistry (MPSoD) hosts two seminar series—Discover Dental Sciences and Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (SoTL)—to share knowledge from our research projects. These seminars are typically held on Wednesdays at noon in 5-099 in the Dianne and Irving Kipnes Health Research Institute, and are open to everyone within and outside of MPSoD.
Discover Dental Sciences Seminar Series
The Discover Dental Sciences seminar series is designed to increase the visibility and impact of our research activities, discoveries, and innovations. These seminars are a great way for our students, faculty, and staff to learn about the exciting work happening within our school.
This series also serves as a platform for scholars from outside the Mike Petryk School of Dentistry, both within and outside the University of Alberta, to present topics that are relevant and interesting to our community.
The seminars are held on alternate Wednesdays monthly, except from September to March (second Wednesdays only).
