Please be advised that the Kipnes Simulation Lab is currently closed due to flooding. Initial reports indicate that the space may not be available until Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the earliest. Â
Re-opening date to be determined.
Most professional fees in the DDS/DH Fee Guide will undergo a 3% increase with the exception of those related to scaling/root planing, topical fluoride application, definitive complete dentures, crowns, bridge retainers and pontics. New fees will be in effect on Monday, January 15, 2024.
Please note that fees associated with treatment plans that were consented to by the patient prior the increase will be honoured.
DDS students assigned to screen new patients must review and be very familiar with the New Patient Intake - Screening Protocol prior to seeing patients. Please see all hyperlinked content, including:
Please also remember to have notes/comments documented in the "Outcome of Prosthodontic Consult" by the Prosthodontist who completed the Prosth Consult for "tentatively accepted" patients.
Please note that powder-liquid ratios noted on the outside of the Bosworth Trusoft kit have been updated. Â
Dispense one full vial of liquid (glass vial) into the mixing cup. Measure 1/3 oz of powder (3rd line from the bottom) and add to the liquid. Please see these instructions for more details.
Please note that operatory-specific blood pressure cuffs are located in the LOWER RIGHT cupboard of each operatory, with the exception of operatories that have a wall on the right side of the operatory - blood pressure cuffs are located in the lower left cupboard of these operatories.
Please be sure to place the blood pressure cuff into the appropriate container and return it to the appropriate operatory cupboard when finished with it. Thank you.
Students are reminded to kindly ask their patients to refrain from using their cell phones while in the OHC as having patients attempt to take calls during treatment can be very disruptive.
