We've noticed scalpels being left uncovered on lab counters after use. This poses a serious safety risk.
To keep everyone safe:
After use, always cover scalpels with their protective sheaths or caps.
Used scalpels must be disposed of in designated sharps containers. Never leave them exposed on countertops.
Instructions for using the 3Shape TRIOS intraoral scanner have been updated, specifically with regards to the naming convention of files.
In “Last Name” field, enter First Initial+Last Initial+Chart Number+space+date (DD/MM/YYYY) eg. DL1234567 05062024

Students are kindly reminded not to remove the beige Thowax (used for diagnostic wax ups) from the KEC Student Lab. If any tins have been removed from the lab, please return them as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
Students are reminded to properly secure all hair under head/hair covers, especially those with long hair. It's important to gather and tuck hair neatly underneath the hair/head cover, ensuring that ponytails do not extend beyond the cover. Thank you for your cooperation.
