ATTENTION:Â Increased usage of Sectional Matrices and Wedges
It has come to our attention that some operators are improperly using multiple sectional matrices and wedges within the operatories, particularly placing extras within the operating field. These items, once contaminated, cannot be returned to the clean side of the dispensary for reuse.
Please note that each sectional matrix costs $1.50, and each wedge costs $0.50.
These items should only be taken in reasonable quantities, and excessive amounts should not be removed from the sundry carts. We expect all operators to be more mindful of these resources moving forward to avoid unnecessary costs and ensure proper usage.
REMINDER: : Remove all gross debris from equipment before returning to dispensary
We understand that time constraints may sometimes be a factor, but ensuring the cleanliness of equipment is a shared responsibility and crucial for maintaining a safe, functional, and respectful learning environment. Please allocate the necessary time at the end of your session to properly clean the equipment you have used, before returning it to the dispensary.
ATTENTION: DDS 3
DDS3 Students are required to transfer their items from their previously assigned KEC Student Lab Lockers into their newly assigned lab lockers by April 25.Â
Please remove ALL items and clean old locker with cavicide wipes. Items left behind will be discarded.
