REMINDER:  Capturing Health Information from an EHR

It is prohibited to use personal mobile computing devices to capture, store, share or communicate any form of patient information or images, whether the Treatment Provider / Learner considers the information personally identifiable or not.   

Any form of storage, including in messaging logs, of any patient information constitutes unapproved digital information sharing and a breach of the Health Information Act of Alberta.  

UPDATE:  Computer Issues in OHC

We are still experiencing technical issues with computers in the OHC that use the Think Kiosk interface following a recent upgrade by IST.  To ensure smooth operation and avoid disruptions, please DO NOT RESTART the clinical computers.

Restarting computers will result in lockdowns, requiring manual overrides by staff to unlock them.  This can cause inconvenience and delays in accessing axiUm.  If you encounter a locked computer, please seek assistance from clinic staff or IT support to manually unlock the computer.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work to resolve these issues promptly. 

UPDATE:  Reduced Fee for ClinPro 5000

The OHC has 24 tubes of Clinpro 5000 Anticavity Toothpaste 4 w/ 1.1% NaF expiring in January 2025.  To clear our inventory during Intersession, we've reduced the price for this product to $14.00.   Please spread the word to your patients who you feel would benefit from this product so they can benefit from these cost savings as well.
