Starting Tuesday, January 31st, staff in the Radiology Suite implemented a new system for checking the availability of radiology operatories. Â
UPDATE:Â Pan Unit
New tag for pan machine will be made available todayÂ
If pan tag is available, pan is available
Take tag to use pan
When finished using pan, take pan tag back to whiteboard
If there is an operatory listed in the pan queue on the whiteboard, the student brings the tag to the next operatory listed in the queue.
Please see this Radiology Workflow and instructional video to learn how to reserve radiology operatories in the Radiology Suite.
Please ensure all annual exam and perio-related recalls are accurately entered in axiUm's Patient Card Recall Box (toothbrush icon). Inaccurate entries significantly impact day to day operations for those responsible for scheduling patients, not to mention how inaccurate data negatively impacts consistency of patient care.Â
1. Please ensure the following are reviewed and updated at each perio appointment:
Perio Form (in CAF Folder in "Forms")
Periodontal Classification
Future Scheduling of Periodontal Treatment
2. Please use the Perio Template Note (DDS & DH Students) when entering treatment notes related to perio into the "Tx History":
The Recall Card is populated by the information in the "S" section of the PARTS note
Next periodontal appointment: (Recall Type) (Recall Interval)
3. Prior to dismissing patients, please check the Recall Card - please DELETE old/outdated recalls:
Each Recall Card should only have TWO future-dated recalls:
one PERIO-RELATED recall type with the appropriate interval, andÂ
one EXAM recall type, with the appropriate interval.
