Fall 2022 - Clinical Preparation Course in eClass

All students can now self-enroll in the Clinical Preparation Course in order to prepare for the upcoming Fall 2022 term.  Asynchronous learning modules/webinars found on eClass may be completed once the content is made available.  All components must be completed before participating in clinical activities in the OHC.

The Clinical Preparation Course contains the following elements:  

• SoD Health Information Act (HIA)

  • online, asynchronous learning module

  • generate Attestation of Completion certificate when successfully completed

• Risk Management

  • online, asynchronous learning module

  • generate Attestation of Completion certificate when successfully completed

• Infection Prevention & Control (IPC)

  • online, asynchronous learning modules

  • generate Attestation of Completion certificate when successfully completed

• Emergency Management

  • online, asynchronous webinars

  • generate Attestation of Completion certificate when successfully completed

• CPR Basic Life Support (BLS)

  • students are responsible for the cost of the CPR course and must register well in advance with Professional Medical Associates using the link found in this form.  

  • online CPR BLS course and subsequent registration for the in-person component must be completed by August 18.  DUE TO SCHEDULING CHALLENGES, NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PROCESSED.

  • in-person CPR BLS/Emergency Management Session

  • Friday, August 26, 2022, from 8:30 am-10:45 am

  • section C1 of the SoD Oral Health Clinic (KEC) 

  • upload CPR certificate when both online and in-person components are successfully completed
