Internal Funding Sources
The School of Dentistry provides several internal research grant opportunities for funding including those to support big and small research projects, publication of scholarly books and scholarly conference travel.
The purpose of the grants is to stimulate and support research in specific areas, and this was made possible by our generous donors. There are also several studentships available to our graduate students.
Faculty, graduate and undergraduate students are encouraged to apply for the grants or studentships they are eligible for.
Internal funding sources are categorized into three as shown below.
Endowed Major Grant
These grants offer more than $8,000 in funding opportunities for research studies. The three major grants are:
Geoffrey and Robyn Sperber Craniofacial Biology Research Fund (GRSRF)
Rowland Haryett Endowment Fund (RHEF)
Community and Population Oral Health Research Fund (CPOHRF)
Endowed Smaller Grant (Now open)
These grants offer up to $8,000 in funding opportunities for research studies. Presently, there are eight grants in this category.
Endowed Studentship
The school of dentistry currently has seven endowed graduate studentships and four undergraduate studentships.
