Research funding is a grant for conducting scientific research, generally through a competitive process. Grant Applications

Specific student funding applications (WCHRI, CIHR, NSERC) and faculty grant applications are required to be submitted through the Researcher's Homepage. The department's research project coordinator provides support in this regard. 

The research service office requires all applications to be submitted at least eight business days on the Researcher Home Page before the sponsor's deadline. 

Research Partner

Feiyue Akishyn is now the Research Partner for the Mike Petryk School of Dentistry. As a research partner, her main focus is to provide strategic support to researchers to enhance their grant application success. She helps researchers connect with other internal and external resources. She is the research partner lead for the New Frontiers in Research Fund - Exploration program as well as competitions offered by health foundations such as the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
