Bioclearâ„¢ Blasters are now available from Dispensaries B &C for use during bonding procedures including composite resin restorations, CAD/CAM, final cementation of crowns/bridges, etc.
Please see these instructions for patient indications and contraindications, as well as how to set up and tear down the Bioclearâ„¢ Blasters in the OHC.
Please ensure any unused/unopened burs and endo files are RETURNED to the Soiled Counter for reprocessing and NOT DISCARDED in the sharps container.
Please ensure any bottles containing sodium hypochlorite solution are RETURNED to the Soiled Counter at the end of each clinical session and NOT left in the operatory.
Please ensure diagnostic casts have been scanned using the 3 Shape lab scanner in the Prosthodontics Lab before the end of winter term. We would also greatly appreciate it if students could tidy up the KEC Student Lab by discarding old lab cases ie. working casts if the case has been completed.
Please remember that the Prosthodontics Lab is open from 7:45am-11:45am and 12:45pm-4:15pm.
Please contact Paul Ladell with any questions or concerns about using the 3 Shape lab scanner.
Student access to the Sim Lab in Kipnes as well as the Student Lab in KEC will remain unchanged during the upcoming break, however, there will be one full day where all the equipment in the wet lab, in the Kipnes Sim Lab, will be unavailable for use during maintenance.
Please don't forget to submit a SoD Fit for Work Screening Questionnaire form if coming into KEC Student Lab.Â
