UPDATE:  Level 1 KEC Patient Screening Discontinued - April 1

With respiratory numbers in the province continuing to decline, AHS patient screening roles throughout the province are being discontinued starting April 1, 2023.

While AHS screeners will no longer be in place as of April 1, continuous masking will remain in place for all visitors, as well as for students, faculty, and staff at all AHS acute care, continuing care and community sites. Signage reminding Albertans about the AHS masking directive will continue to be in place at the entrance of AHS care sites. Please see these resources with regards to carrying out and enforcing the masking directive for those visiting an AHS facility ie. KEC.

REMINDER:  Avoiding "Bent Burs''

Please remember to remove burs from packaging by tearing or cutting the package open, similar to how a sterilization bag is opened ie. not by "pushing" the bur through the package.
