Pediatric Dentistry has changed the material used for pulp capping of primary teeth during pulpotomy procedures from Neo MTA to TheraCal PT.

Students are reminded to complete a thorough clinical and radiographic assessment of new patients as part of a complete examination (01103). Treatment providers should make every effort to seek out and review past images prior to prescribing new radiographs in order to prevent duplication. Â
To serve as a baseline, teeth previously treated with RCT should be assessed with previous or new periapical radiographs. Please contact faculty members from radiology or endodontics with any questions.
Patient services now manages check-in and check-out for patients of all School of Dentistry undergraduate and graduate clinical programs operating out of the Oral Health Clinic.
Students are reminded to ensure that all gas valves are TURNED OFF immediately after use.
