ATTENTION: Health, Safety & Environment
Now that we are well past pandemic era restrictions, it’s important to remember that you are still expected to follow our Clinical IPC Standards. Here are a few quick reminders:
Scrubs, headcover, clinic shoes and safety glasses are always required for every clinical session.
A head cover must cover ALL hair.Â
Eye protection means: CSA Approved Safety Glasses, Face Shield, Loupes with side shields
Even if you aren’t involved in the delivery of patient care, your hair must be tied back.Â
If you are passing through a patient care area while patient care is occurring, you must wear a head cover and mask. A gown is required tooÂ
Masks are worn correctly or not at all. Never pull/wear a mask under the chin or nose - this is a reportable IPC Infraction.Â
REMINDER: Â Housekeeping of Common Areas
Kindly ensure that soiled gowns are placed in the designated soiled gown bags at the end of the day. These should not be left hanging on hooks in common areas.
Please note that AHS does not collect recycling bins from individual offices or office hallways. We ask that you regularly empty small recycling containers into the larger bins located in the hallway alcoves.Â
Thank you for your cooperation.

We wanted to share a comment we received from one of our patients through our SoD OHC Patient Satisfaction Survey:
"Their students were extremely positive, very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I personally had the pleasure of working with 6 students throughout my procedures and every student exceeded my expectations."
