EXAMÂ Â
When a complete exam (01103) or recall exam (01202) is completed in axiUm, a 12 month EXAM recall type is automatically added to the Recall Box of the Patient Card.
If an EXAM recall type already exists in the Recall Box, it's recall date will automatically be replaced with the new recall date.
When a pediatric complete exam (01101, 01102) or pediatric recall exam (01202P) is completed in axiUm, the Recall Box will open and the provider will be prompted to enter the recall interval for the PEDO recall type ie. 6 months or 12 months.Â
IPT, MSPT, REEVAL
The Recall Box is automatically populated based on recall information from the Perio Template Note.
If the recall type does not change, ie MSPT to MSPT, the previous recall date will be automatically replaced with the new recall date.
If the recall type changes, ie IPT to REEVAL or REEVAL to MSPT, the new recall type and interval will be automatically added to the Recall Box, based on recall information from Perio Template Note; however, the provider must DELETE the old/previous recall from the Recall Box.
Please ensure to treatment plan a Complete Exam (01103) for new patients who are completely edentulous. This will ensure that a 12 month EXAM recall is automatically added to the Recall Box of the Patient Card. Â
Similarly, please ensure to treatment plan a Recall Exam (01202) for returning patients who are completely edentulous. This will ensure that the 12 month EXAM recall date is automatically updated.
