NEW:  Dental Implants Placed by External Treatment Providers

Starting November 27, patients presenting with dental implants that were placed by external treatment providers must consent to the AARC - Dental Implants Placed by External Treatment Providers.  Faculty, staff and students are asked to familiarize themselves with the content of this form.  

When dental implants are entered as a finding, a 🛑 sign will appear adjacent to the finding code in the patient's treatment history.  Similar to other AARC forms, the 🛑 sign indicates that an AARC form must be generated by the treatment provider and that the patient's signature must be captured once details of the form have been reviewed with the patient.

REMINDER:  New Patient Screening Process 

DDS students are reminded to follow the New Patient Intake - Screening Protocol.  Please review this document before screening appointments.  Please note that screening appointments in CC are only supervised by CC Directors and DDS Leads at this time.

REMINDER:  Flushing of Suction Lines 

Please ensure suction lines are adequately flushed with water for at least 30 seconds after any appointment that requires the use of LVE or HVE.
