Soft cut lino is fun and easy to use. We designed a teacup by looking at different ornate china cups and drew our own special teacup. We transferred the design onto tracing paper, then onto the soft cut lino. Finally, we got to use the carving tools and carve around our design. The printing was the last thing we did, and we completed a black print as well as printing on a tissue paper collage of our teacup. We had to be very neat and careful when printing.
