In almost every part of the world the dragonfly symbolizes change, transformation, adaptability, and self-realisation. The change that is often referred to has it's source in mental and emotional maturity.The year 4 students of Stella Maris explored these concepts and created patterns using pen and ink presented on an acrylic paint background. In Native American legends the dragonfly is a symbol of resurrection and renewal after hardship.
