I chose to paint a sky in sunset to showcase natures true beauty when uninterrupted by human activity. I based my painting of an original photograph I took. It opened my eyes to a new medium that I had never used before and inspired me to further explore oil painting and improve my technique. It also expresses the idea of the divine beauty of nature very well and fulfils the vision I had of expressing this.
