Created on Mary MacKillop Feast Day 2019 this image of the Sacred Heart, created by the whole school community is a reminder of the devotion to the Sacred Heart which was so dear to St Mary MacKillop’s spirituality. This image reminds us of the compassionate love Jesus showed to all and challenges us as a Josephite community to always live with a humble, compassionate and courageous heart. Each individual spot, reminiscent of a mosaic has been created from a thumb print by nearly every student and staff member. Creating this painting in such a way symbolises that together we can achieve great things.
