The piece was created for a year 11 Studio Art class at Thomas Carr College. The brief was to create an art piece which represented the issue of ‘waste’ in our world. Charlotte used recycled fabrics and yarn fibres, on a frame using left over wires found in the art room. Charlotte was interested in recreating the form of the moth because it reminds her of the fragility of nature
