Hysteria

Hysteria

Years 3 and 4 collaboration

Our Lady Help of Christians Primary School, Eltham

A tidal wave of plastic pollution is on its way. How would you react? The 3/4 students have been inspired by Alberto Giacometti's sculptures to create Hysteria. They used wire, masking tape and foil to shape their person. The wave has been created from chicken wire and plastic rubbish collected from the yard and local Diamond Creek. Our Term 3 inquiry unit, Flushed Away, focused on the health of our waterways. The wave reflects the amount of rubbish that we have in our waterways and the impending doom if we don't do something to fix the mess.
