After seeing Escher’s work advertised and during art lessons I thought that I might attempt a drawing that would trick the observers’ eye.

I decided to draw a bridge that looks like it is floating above a river. This worked when I made the bridge sit above a deep gorge with the water flowing at the bottom. I think it tricks the eye into thinking that the bridge is floating.
