The 3/4s have designed their own altar cloth to be used during class masses and other whole school liturgical celebrations. Each student was given a 35 x 35cm piece of cotton to dye using the Shibori Japanese dyeing technique. This involved folding, twisting or bunching cloth and binding it, then dyeing it in indigo. Each piece was then sewn together to make a finished altar cloth and was then blessed by our Parish Priest during our Term 3 class mass.
