We were researching Old Masters as part of our library inquiry. At the conclusion of our research we were asked to create a piece of work fusing part of an Old Master of our choice and our own modern day idea. I took the title of the Old Master which was ‘The Laughing Cavalier’ and added my modern ideas. I really enjoyed this activity because I liked combining the old and the new and loved the feel of working on canvas - just like an Old Master.
