Looking at Van Gogh skies I decided that I would like to create an Australian desert sky. Using acrylic paints of pastel tones I brushed the paint onto the card from left to right, blending the colours as I covered the card from top to bottom.

I then splattered white to represent the stars in the sky and once it had dried I used a black texta to separate the distant landscape from the night sky.
