My interpretation of the quote that was given - 'Everyone has a really short attention span nowadays with social media and our phones, even me, I can't go without checking my phone every five minutes.' - shows that people even on such a short trip on a tram still disconnect themselves from the world with their technology, even the baby in its carrier. I chose to work in clay because it was unfamiliar to me and I wanted to try a new media.
