Roralee O’Reilly created the solarised print in her year 10 Creative Photography class at Thomas Carr College. Roralee learnt that traditionally white light on photographic paper would usually damage a print, but when it is controlled it can create a really mysterious, eye-catching effect. The image was photographed at the college, as a part of learning how to use an analogue camera and black and white film. She developed the photo herself in the college’s darkroom.
