In order to effectively convey my theme of ‘fear’ I created multiple skeletons which combined the use of found objects collected from parks, train stations and the garden shed with clay constructed features. The found objects were essentially rustic, organic and random in nature which assisted, along with the facial expressions, to evoke feelings of fear and unease. Each skeleton has a harmonising quality, whether through colour or material and this helped to create cohesion between the figures.

Inspiration for this sculpture was drawn from Australian artist Rob Davy.

They are individually named, Rob, Hugh, Sally and George.
