My photograph shows the downfall of newspaper businesses and how social media is becoming a worldwide phenomenon. In my photograph I juxtaposed a younger person and an older person to symbolise this change. The focalised, bright red phone contrasts against the dark tones in the furniture and clothing. The phone and the newspaper both being held by the subjects symbolise how the media and newspapers are a toxic tool in today’s society.
