I designed a screen printed poster using retro travel posters as inspiration. I was fascinated by the colours and light when I traveled to Cinque Terra in Italy last year, and wanted to depict the beauty of that area in my artwork. I carefully planned each layer of my print and ensured all the stencils were registered properly when I cut and printed them. I liked seeing the shapes, lines and colours develop as I printed each layer, and I think the artwork has a good depth to it.
