Montanna sketched a vase of flowers that was displayed. This was then traced over and coloured with oil pastels. The background was filled with watercolour paint.

"I used these colours because they look pretty and they were good colours to use. The spots are raindrops that are watering the flowers. I felt happy when I was painting this."
