The Year 5 students experimented with acrylic painting techniques and mixed colours on their pages. Students were encouraged to try the sgraffito technique and scratch definition into their jungle scenes. The objective was to create an abstracted bird influenced by Mirka Mora using shape and colour, and include a painted background responding to Henri Rousseau’s jungle scenes.
