As part of our theme of Public Art, students looked at a variety of street art, including that of Afghani street artist Shamsia Hassani. Her self portrait approach to her painting provided the inspiration to Year Three and Four students. They looked at the minimalist style and representation of the human figure and included this technique in to their own paintings. Finally, the paintings were colour photocopied and assembled to create a group collage of street art.
