Leonardo da Vinci was obsessed by faces. He filled sketchbooks with drawings of people with interesting and unusual features. He called these ‘Grotesques.’ We studied Leonardo’s ‘Grotesques’ and also sculptures of grotesques faces created by other artists. Following this we created our own ‘Grotesque.’ First, we drew our idea on paper and then using black and white Paper Magiclay created a model of our drawing. After our model was dry, we used textas to add colour.
