This collaborative work was created in response to the shortlisted Children's Book Council of Australia picture book, The All New Must Have Orange 430. Students viewed and discussed the picture book and researched Steampunk subculture. They used a range of recycled materials, paint, beads and buttons to create an individual piece that formed part of a larger mechanism. The artwork is a reflection on throw away culture, waste and mass consumerism.
