Moss and Mushroom is a hand built coil pot that focuses on the elements and colours seen in nature. In this work I have expressed an organic representation of nature through form and colour. I built the cylindrical form using the coil technique adding hand moulded decoration and textures that took inspiration from moss and mushrooms. The coloured glazes enhance the sense of nature.Moss and Mushroom is a decorative pot that emulates the floors of the natural environment and the beauty in them that is often missed in our busy times.
