This work drew inspiration from the book, Dingo by Claire Saxby and the illustrations of the artist, Tannya Harricks. Ms Harricks uses bold confident brushstrokes and intense layers of oil paint to create her work. This work uses acrylic paint on cartridge paper and the colour was layered and mixed directly on the page in an attempt to emulate her bold style.
